Mom & I came to bury a loved one with military honors, and found a hidden Triple-D gem in the bargain. Vets, and families thereof... REJOICE... for now you've got one more good reason to visit your service person's grave, or niche. Even if you're just looking for somewhere with a comfortable ambience to escape to from the city, this is the place to go... in Rittman... for real. Ample indoor seating, fast, friendly... dare I say perky... service, a great bar, plenty of brew taps, and a well appointed patio -- even in the depths of Winter -- await you for both your pre, or post-memorial visit. Or for whatever reason you may drop in. And they cater... can anyone say: The Best Wake, or The Best Memorial Day Feast... EVER? The appetizers here are all house made... no frozen stuff. The beer battered onion rings were so good, we didn't even get a picture. Maybe next time. Mom had the classic Reuben with a well-executed potato salad... a side that wasn't just an afterthought, but was full of flavor on its own. I had The Original PigMac which was old-fashioned Mac & Cheese topped with slow-cooked pulled pork, and house made BBQ sauce. Yum! It appears there are more sauces they make here... all the way up to the 4X heat level. Maybe another day for this as well. I also had the Great Lakes Christmas Ale sans Cinnamon & Sugar Rim... because I was saving those sweet treats for the pretzel bites & the house made pumpkin pie. So many good tastes met in the amber light of this always festive brew. All-in-all this was a great dining experience that was a good reason to make coming back to the Rittman area a priority. We came to Rittman to go to the orchard, and we found this as a convenient lunch option. My friend and I both enjoyed our food. It's definitely on the dive bar section of the scale, but I like that just fine. At noon on a Saturday, there were plenty of places to sit, and the server let us linger to talk. I had a fried chicken sandwich, and it was giving Wendy's chicken sandwich vibes, in a good way, nothing fancy, very satisfying. We also tried the broccoli cheese bites app, and while they weren't super flavorful, they came out hot and were a really fun option. My friend had some grilled shrimp that we also shared, and they were tasty, with some garlic butter. The menu had a lot to chose from, and they had a fun looking cocktail menu as well, though we did not indulge. I'm sure it gets busy in here at dinner time!

Frequent here for lunch/dinner. They have a large menu, lots of drink specials. Monthly ribs/chicken is award winning (literally!). Great indoor/outdoor seating and atmosphere.
My family and I were out in Rittman apple picking and found this restaurant on Yelp. The food here is unbelievably good!! The fries were crunchy on the outside and fluffy inside, the fish sandwich, the mushroom Swiss burger and chicken tenders were amazing. The outside patio is also really nice!!! The staff is also very friendly!!! We will 100% be back!!
Only bar in town and not disappointing! Have been multiple times and all the food has been great. Drinks are great!
We stopped here for a quick bite to eat after an away football game. Glad we stopped. Food tasted great. The waitstaff were quick and friendly! We had the Cheese Curds and Tots with bacon and cheese for apps and Burgers for the main course. Large portions. Would recommend to anyone passing thru looking for a good bite to eat!
Very casual. But coming from a memorial ceremony and the staff was very wonderful and friendly. Plus the food and drinks were great. We all had a fabulous time, relaxing and remembering my father. It was a perfect place to just enjoy each other's company and be ourselves.
First time there yesterday. The ribs were excellent and so was the service. Did not wait long for the food. I can't wait to go back. The prices are great.
